The hotel was great and charming and in a very central location. Plus, it was right by the center of Lyndhurst with easy access to the new Forest, Southhampton, and Christchurch, and shops, restaurants and the attractions of the New Forest. ...  

It was the best of Lyndhurst hotels I visited before. Many things to mention - everything was clean, outstanding food, particularly nice views. The location for Lyndhurst was amazing and fab, adjacent to lyndhurst, right at the top of the...  

Comfortable place for 2 nights with exceptionally well trained staff in which the manager admitted too. A very well decorated hotel, my first choice in Lyndhurst.

Plenty of options for breakfast in the dining area. Unobtrusive staff, smooth check-in and good bar. What a marvellous location to the Indian restaurant around the corner! Also - not far from pubs, shops and a variety restaurants nearby....  

The location is great and lovely and they have parking on-site.

The classic double room is air-conditioned with shower, open fireplaces, for example.

Very basic breakfast, it should be much better.

Had a wonderful breakfast, an airy room with a pleasant view to the gardens. A grill restaurant was magnificent.

We were really impressed with our stay at this place. The location is perfect, right in the center of town. It's conveniently situated at the top of the high street, opposite the church where Alice Liddell is buried. This made it easy for us to explore the town and enjoy optional restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely gardens where we could relax and enjoy afternoon tea or evening drinks. The staff, from the manager down, were brilliant and provided excellent service. The room was very comfortable and well-decorated, and the breakfast included in the price was great. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to families.

There were no negative aspects to mention about this hotel. It was perfect for families and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very comfy bed in the classic queen room, plus climate control, a lounge area, and a hair dryer.
